Terms & Conditions for McGanns Loyalty Card

  1. To qualify for a loyalty card, customers must provide a current, valid email address.

  2. Cards are only valid for retail purchases, trade, staff and account sales are excluded.

  3. Loyalty cards are only available for use when purchasing in our Northampton store. Purchases on A1McGanns.co.uk will not result in points being added to any McGanns A1 Motor Stores loyalty account.

  4. Loyalty card accrued value may only be redeemed against goods and have no monetary value.

  5. You will not receive points when purchasing products that are already on promotion or that have been reduced for clearance.

  6. You will not receive points when purchasing goods on finance or cycle to work scheme.

  7. You will earn 10 points for every £1 spent in store. Once you have reached 200 points a £1 credit will be added to your account which you will be able to use to deduct the value from future purchases.

  8. You will automatically receive 100 Loyalty points for joining McGanns Loyalty Scheme.

  9. You will also receive bonus points as a birthday gift. The number of bonus points is currently set at 50 but is subject to change by the management. If you do not give the date of your birthday, then no bonus points will be added.

  10. You can also receive bonus points for sharing on social media any products that you have purchased from McGanns A1 Motor Stores shop since becoming a member of the Loyalty Scheme. To receive bonus points in this way the posts must be positive. McGanns A1 Motor Stores must be tagged in any qualifying posts to gain bonus points. We limit customers qualifying posts to 2 per day. A qualifying post will earn 30 points to your account. If a customer does not purchase regularly and just tags us in posts just to increase points on their account, then we reserve the right to deduct points from their account.

  11. If we refund you for purchases that gained you points on your loyalty account, we will deduct the points previously accrued when buying the returned products from your account.

  12. Points cannot be added retrospectively should you fail to present your card at the time of purchase. Any purchases that were made prior to joining McGanns loyalty card scheme will not be added to your account to gain points.

  13. By joining our loyalty card scheme you agree to receive promotional emails from McGanns A1 Motor Stores. Please contact us in writing at McGanns A1 Motor Stores, 71 Harborough Road, Northampton, NN2 7SH or email us at mcganns@a1motorstores if you would like to be taken off the promotional email list.

  14. You will agree to receive a monthly email to let you know the value of credits on your loyalty card account available to redeem in store.

  15. Your details will not be shared with any third parties.

  16. McGanns A1 Motor Stores are not liable for lost, stolen or damaged cards.

  17. McGanns A1 Motor Stores reserves the right to refuse to accept a loyalty card or to limit the use of a card which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or which otherwise is suspected to be affected by fraud, misconduct or unauthorised use. McGanns A1 Motor Stores may withdraw or cancel your Card or take any other action it may deem appropriate if it suspects fraud, misconduct or unauthorised use.

  18. McGanns A1 Motor Stores reserve the right to alter or cancel the scheme at any time and will be under no obligation to provide reasons for doing so. The issue of any new terms and conditions and subsequent use of the card will be deemed as acceptance by the customer.
